Job Description
- As the Country Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy in DACH.
- You will lead a team of sales professionals, manage key accounts, and drive revenue growth through effective sales tactics and market expansion initiatives.
- This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the SaaS market, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing a sales team, preferably within the SaaS or AI technology sector.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure team members meet and exceed their sales targets.
- Market Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including key accounts and strategic partnerships, to expand market presence and drive revenue growth.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and ensuring the successful implementation and adoption of their SaaS solutions.
- Performance Management: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management and adjusting strategies as needed to meet targets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Customer Success, and Product Management, to ensure a unified approach and address customer needs effectively.
- Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market demands to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Budget Management: Manage the sales budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize return on investment and support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing a sales team, preferably within the SaaS or AI technology sector.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and manage high-level customer relationships.
- Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the DACH SaaS market, including AI industry trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans, with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business expansion.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with SaaS products and an understanding of how they address business challenges; experience with enterprise solutions is a plus.
- Language Skills: Fluent in DACH and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
